Reinforce an efficiency of gas absorption performance by miniturizing the gas bubbles to increase gas-liquid interface, increasing the gas holdup quantity and residence time to reduce the liquid-side diffusion resistance.

  • Adoption of optimum impeller diameter to low-viscosity gas absorption Because the rotation speed with the same power varies depending on the impeller diameter, the shearing charateristic and circulating characteristic will vary accordingly. Therefore, an optimum impeller diameter to gas absorption in a low viscosity range was identified through experiments. The resultant impeller diameter for M/B-G is approximately 80% of that for the standard MAXBLEND.
  • Increase grid shearing area The length of the lower grid has been increased to achieve a wider shearing area by grid than the standard MAXBLEND
